Read pages 5-6 of Readings from the Old Testament. This is about the Fall.

Read Chapter 3 in Genesis: The Book of Origins, also about Adam and Eve's Fall.

5. What is original sin?
6. What were the effects of original sin on the first man and woman? (he names three punishments).
7. What were the effects of original sin on all their descendants? (He makes 3 main points)
8. Who by God's grace was spared the effects of original sin? Why was that?
